Hugh Dailey

Mr. Dailey has been in the banking industry for 40 years. He currently serves as the CEO of Southeast Trust, a position he has held for the past 5 years. Prior to Southeast Trust, Mr. Dailey served as the President and CEO of Community Bank and Trust of Florida for 22 years.

Mr. Dailey has lived in Marion County for over 50 years and is active the community, especially the cattle and thoroughbred horse industry. Throughout his career he served several non-profits including the Southeastern Youth Fair, Marion County 4H Foundation, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, and has provided several scholarships to local youth.

Mr. Dailey maintained involvement in the trust and bank trade associations throughout his career. In addition, he served a combined 11 years on the Federal Reserve Bank of Jacksonville Board and the Community Depository Committee for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

After graduating from the University of Florida in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture he attended the LSU Graduate School of Banking. Over his career he attended numerous banking and trust schools.

Mr. Dailey, his wife and daughter stay busy with community service organizations and are also involved in a local manufacturing business that builds high quality boats.
